Starts Friday February 6 with five SOLD OUT shows

SUPPORT ARTISTS ANNOUNCED!

Nothing says summer quite like watching the epic line-up of artists at the annual Twilight at Taronga Summer Concert Series — and with this year’s support acts now announced, there’s even more reason to be there. Alongside some of Australia’s most-loved headliners, audiences will also have the chance to discover the very best in rising local talent, with support artists taking to the stage to showcase their original work in one of the country’s most iconic live music settings.

We kick things off on Friday 6 February, with Didirri and Rowena Wise opening for The Paper Kites. Expect an evening of heartfelt storytelling, soaring harmonies and goosebump-worthy moments as Didirri and Rowena Wise set the mood before The Paper Kites take the stage.

On Saturday 7 February, lush indie-pop artist Wiles opens the night for a double hit of Cloud Control and The Preatures. Known for her dreamy synths, hooky melodies and chorus-drenched guitars, Wiles (aka Sydney-based artist Ellen Fitzgibbon) invites you into a hazy, irresistible sonic world — the perfect way to ease into the night.

Joining Sons of the East on Thursday 12 February (and their sold out Friday 13 February show) is Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys. With their intoxicating blend of Americana and country soul, expect dancing, storytelling and pure joy under the stars.

Fans heading along to Xavier Rudd’s three shows — Friday 20 February (sold out), Saturday 21 February (sold out) and Sunday 22 February — are in for something special, with Finojet opening each night. Sharing rhythm, spirit and song, Xavier’s son brings an immersive, high-energy live show packed with multi-instrumental brilliance.

On Thursday 26 February, the alternative rock sounds of The Rubens will be warmed up by Joe Mungovan and Father’s Favourite. Joe Mungovan blends rhythm, groove and rich storytelling into irresistible indie-rock, while Father’s Favourite open the night with spellbinding harmonies inspired by the free-spirited rock’n’roll of the 60s and 70s.

Opening for Vera Blue on Friday 27 February is Holly Hebe, whose piano-driven melodies and dreamy pop sensibilities create an intimate, atmospheric start to the evening.

Supporting Marlon Williams on Thursday 5 March is Kee’ahn, a Kuku, Yalanji, Jirrbal, Torres Strait Islander songwriter and performer from North Queensland. Kee’ahn’s soulful music promises a deeply moving night where story, sound and harbour views collide.
