Baby Animals & Killing Heidi

Sydney, get ready to unleash your inner air guitar hero! The iconic Baby Animals are bringing their signature blend of raw power and melodic hooks to the shores of Sydney Harbour for a night of electrifying rock and roll at Twilight at Taronga.

The Baby Animals absolutely dominated the Australian music scene in the early ‘90s with their exhilarating mix of hard-rock swagger, wholehearted lyrics, and the glam attitude of vocalist and guitarist Suzie DeMarchi.  Their chart-topping self-titled debut album went on to become one of the highest selling rock albums in Australia.

Come along and relive the anthems that defined a generation as the Baby Animals take you on a sonic journey through their legendary catalogue. From the explosive riffs of “One Word”, the irresistible, driving rock grooves of “Early Warning”, to the soaring vocals of “Rush You” and the timeless ballad “Painless”,  you’ll be singing, dancing and air-guitaring the night away.

This will be a celebration of rock’n’roll, a reunion with an unparalleled force in Australian music, and a chance to witness a band that continues to inspire with their fiery energy, still burning fiercely.

As if that isn’t enough, on this night filled with Aussie Rock heroes, Killing Heidi will also take to the stage!

The legendary Killing Heidi are set to bring their effervescent, genre-bending energy to the Twilight at Taronga stage.

More than twenty years ago, two siblings from Violet Town Victoria, Ella and Jesse Hooper, stormed onto the Australian music scene with their intoxicating blend of dark, twisted melodies, explosive guitar riffs, and fresh, unbridled energy.  Winners of triple j’s Unearthed in 1996, their music resonated with a whole generation, leading to chart-topping hits like “Weir” and “Mascara,” a Number 1 multi-platinum debut album Reflector, and a prestigious APRA Songwriter of the Year Award.

After a decade of successful solo and duo projects, the Hooper siblings reunited in 2016 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album. The response was phenomenal, with sold-out shows and a renewed passion for their music.

Since then, Killing Heidi has gone from strength to strength, touring extensively across Australia, reuniting with their old fans and galvanising new ones with their joyous live performances.   Killing Heidi’s music has stood the test of time – don’t miss their triumphant return to the shores of Sydney Harbour for a night of pumped-up pop hooks and singalong rock and roll.
